AX-Marine is the more affordable system provided by Axitude s.r.l. for platform automatic stabilization in marine dynamic environment. The main function of the AX-Marine system is to detect automatically and correct any variation of the platform attitude during navigation. The attitude detection is realized by the measurement operated on the platform by the AHRS (Attitude and Heading Reference System) of the AX1-Family (more detail on the family brochure), then the control and correction activity are performed through the TCU (Tables Control Unit), taking advantage of the hydrodynamic forces acting on the Trim Tabs. The mode of operation of the AX-Marine is based on a deep knowledge of both the hydrodynamic law and inertial measurement instruments. The automatic Trim Tabs control low, is a closed loop process that is based on the continuously monitoring of the attitude vessel parameters like, pitch, roll, heading, lateral acceleration, turn rate and velocity. The proprietary control algorithm determines the optimum attitude in order to maximize the vessel comfort during navigation. It continuously exchange data with the Trim Tabs positioning sensor in order to maintain the appropriate vessel attitude. The Trim Table position is displayed on the JPP (Joystick and Positioning Panel) led bar.
